Sister Winds is elated to announce our 10th Annual Colorado Festival at the Mishawaka Amphitheater in the stunningly beautiful Poudre Canyon. Celebrating Women in Music, this is family friendly, all peoples gathering.
This year bringing forth local, regional, and national music. We are honored to host amazing talent from a variety of genres to grace the stage. Plus incredible dance, aeriel and fire-dancing, innovative speakers, and workshops for the mind, body, and spirit. The fabulous Rainbow Lightning provides a Youth Village to inspire the children -and the kid in each of us- with enriching crafts, arts and play. In addition to the Mishawaka’s fine restaurant faire, we will have an organic and vegetarian food truck and delightful local goods from Herb and Craft Vendors. The Mishawaka Amphitheater has committed to having almost an entirely female staff for the day of Sister Winds! Beyond having a wonderful day together, attending this Festival always gives back to a Cause.
Sister Winds believes in celebrating life locally to give globally. Each year choosing sustainable projects that support the fundamentals of basic human needs: Water, Seeds, and Bees. This year we chose to give to Trees, Water, and People, a Fort Collins Non-Profit. They have several projects that work on improving people's lives by helping communities protect, conserve, and manage the natural resources. $2 of each ticket sale will go to their water project in Honduras to help families that live in the high country gather water with ferrocement cisterns. We are honored to have an event that gives back to a larger cause. Hope you can join us with the joy of a good cause, building of community, the pleasure of nature, learning, music and More!
